Today I went to the local Target to pick up a few things, one of which was a child proof lock set for the kitchen cabinets. The checker noticed the lock and commented that I must be childproofing. I joking replied that I was attempting it, but nothing could stop my child.
The rest of the conversation went something like this:
C: my sister just bought the ones that you drill into the cabinets and those work really well.
M: Ya, we tried those, they just broke the cabinet door and we're moving soon so I don't really want to go through the trouble of drilling all the holes and everything.
C: Well you know, back in the day they didn't have childproofing stuff they actually had to watch their kids.
**note to self: actually WATCH your child to keep them out of danger! I'm so glad I went to Target today to get this priceless advice.

I love the advise. I would have asked if she had kids of her own. I bet she doesn't because it is impossible to keep those trouble makers out of trouble. But who am I talking, I sleep in till 8:00am, with my kids roaming free for hours. So it is my fault if there is trouble happening. I've got to survive some how, right?Love ali
My kids get into trouble even when I AM ACTUALLY WATCHING them! Isn't it funny what some people say!
yea, i agree with all these people, that's funny, cause i'm sure the girl didn't have kids. I would of straight up asked her if she had kids then tell her to zip it shortly after that.

I think if you are having such a hard time keeping watch over your little guy your should just bring him to me. Just so you know, when your kids get big like mine you forget how busy the little ones are. Enjoy every minute!!
