As tradition goes Ray, Brian and Aaron headed out to the duck blind on Thanksgiving morning. I used to think it was odd that Aaron didn't want to go play turkey bowl with all of his friends, but I think I've finally realized how much he truly enjoys going hunting with his dad and brother (brothers if Matt is in town). Unfortunately for the boys they walked away empty handed this Thanksgiving-but lets face it, hunting really isn't about the birds, they just like drinking hot chocolate, eating brownies (or whatever Ray's treat of choice is that year) and enjoying their surroundings.

Earlier in the week Aaron was able to go out with Ray-and while they didn't get any birds this trip either they were able to chase some cows off the duck club land.

Let's be honest, don't these pictures of the sunrises make you want to get up at 4:50 in the morning so you could see some amazing skies. Honestly, every time I've gone out to the club (which used to be quite often) there has always been an amazing sunrise or sunset.

Happy Hunting boys.
(PS--don't tell Aaron, but I like it when he comes home empty handed, but has been able to spend quality time with his dad. It means no wild bird meat in my fridge for a few days. Just kidding Aaron-I love it when you come home with lots of birds.....)
